Northwich Victoria were formed in 1874 and named in honour of the reigning monarch, Queen Victoria.

In 1892 Northwich became founder members of the 2nd division of the Football League. Having competed in the Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and Northern Leagues for over 50 years, Northwich Victoria will mostly be remembered for their unbroken 25 year stay in the Nationwide Alliance Premier League, named most recently as the National Conference, a feeder league to the English Football league’s Second Division.

A rich history featuring FA Cup runs, FA Trophy win & Wembley appearances. Past players and coaches of the calibre of Billy Meredith, Sammy Mcilroy, Bruce Grobbelaar, Shaun Teale, Gordon Hill, Jimmy Quinn and Gary Taylor-Fletcher to name but a few. Now competing in the North West Counties continuing a tradition of playing young local talent.
